Beginning
- Twelve weeks long.
- Open to anyone wanting to explore the mechanics of basic tribal dance moves.
- Please wear something that is either tight fitting or midsection-exposing on top. May include choli,
fitted t-shirt, tank top, leotard, or sports bra. On
the bottom, wear something that allows for free
movement, preferably harem pants, yoga pants,
leggings, or stretchy workout pants. Bring a hip
scarf if you wish.
- Covers mechanics of basic steps, including posture, body positioning, hip work, limited arm work, and direction and level changes.
- This class is designed to give each student a basic understanding of American Tribal Style Bellydance, as well as the fundamental mechanics of Tribal Feat's signature style.
- Bring your own
yoga mat or beach towel.

Intermediate
- Open only to students who have tested out of the beginning classes and are serious about performing (not necessarily with Tribal Feat).
- Midsection-exposing tops are required. On the bottom, wear stretchy workout pants, harem pants,
leggings, or yoga pants.
- Covers mechanics of more advanced steps, including hip work, arm work, direction and level changes, cues, transitions, and limited floor work.
- Each dancer will lead and follow other dancers, including Tribal Feat troupe members.
- This class is designed to advance and refine students' abilities.
- Bring
water and be prepared for a workout!
Performance Prep
- Admission by instructor recommendation and troupe approval only.
- Covers mechanics of Tribal Feat signature moves, including floor work, Tribal Feat choreography, and group improvisation.
- Students will dance with current troupe members (improv and choreography).
- This class is designed to prepare dancers to audition for Tribal Feat.
- Bring
water and be prepared for a workout!
Bellydance Conditioning

Not
tribal-specific, this class is suitable for anyone
who wants to increase strength, flexibility,
endurance, isometric muscular isolation, balance,
and spatial awareness through bellydance-type
movements and drills.
